1. Who we are

This website is operated by Cevolabs Innovations S.R.L., a company incorporated under Romanian law, with registered office in Bucharest, Romania.

2. Analytics — what we collect

We use Umami, a privacy-first, open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves on a server located in Germany (EU). Umami does not use cookies and does not collect or store any personally identifiable information.

When you visit a page on this website, Umami records:

• The page URL viewed
• The referrer URL (the page you came from, if any)
• Your approximate country (derived from your IP address — the IP address itself is never stored)
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Device type (desktop, tablet, or mobile)
• Browser language setting
• Screen resolution

All of the above is aggregated and anonymous. It is technically impossible to identify you individually from this data.

3. What we do not collect

• No cookies of any kind are set on your device
• No persistent identifiers or fingerprints
• No cross-site or cross-session tracking
• No form data, click streams beyond page navigation, or personal information
• No data is shared with or sold to third parties

4. Legal basis

Because we collect only fully anonymous, aggregated statistical data and set no cookies, no personal data within the meaning of Article 4(1) GDPR is processed. Accordingly, no consent is required under the GDPR or the Romanian transposition of the ePrivacy Directive.

To the extent any processing is deemed to fall within the scope of the GDPR, our legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in understanding how our website is used in order to improve it, which is not overridden by your interests or fundamental rights.

5. Data retention

Anonymous analytics data is retained for 24 months and then deleted.

6. Data transfers

All analytics data is stored on our own server hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in Falkenstein, Germany (EU/EEA). No data is transferred outside the EU/EEA.

7. Your rights

Because no personal data is collected, most GDPR data-subject rights (access, rectification, erasure) do not apply in practice — there is simply no data linked to you. However, if you believe we hold personal data about you, or if you wish to exercise any right under the GDPR, please contact us at info@cevolabs.com.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), or with the supervisory authority of your country of residence.

8. Opt-out

If you prefer not to be counted in our analytics, you can enable the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser. Umami respects this signal and will not record your visit.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
